Thread: Kratos Blade

I stumbled across these via Ebay. I like the look, but I could find any mention of them here. Any information regarding quality?

They look like they are ground more like a knife than a razor. I wouldn't expect it to shave.

Can you give me an idea of what's telling you that? New to this (obviously) and not sure what to look for.

Going out on a limb here but then again I have seen these same style of razors many times..

They are normally made in Pakistan, they are normally not hardened nor tempered to hold a shaving edge, and they normally have the wrong geometry for a straight razor..

We often refer to these types of "Knives" as RSO's or Razor Shaped Objects...

I seriously doubt they will shave at all and if they do take an edge it will probably fail halfway through the shave...
