    Default Kakaime Razor

    Hello i got this Razor, and want to start using straight razor, never used it before.

    Does anyone know anything about this brand? and if it is posbbile to get this razor to cut good with some work on it.
    Will try to get someone to do a professional restoring on it, if its a good blade, if not il practice on it myself.

    Btw i am from Norway so if my english is a litle bad its because of that, and hard to find people restoring straight razors here

    Welcome to SRP

    I don't know anything about the history of that maker. Where does the stamp say it was made?

    This one looks like it will likely hone up just fine. I have some concerns about the razors condition.

    How closely do the dark / hazy areas correspond to the light sections of the scales? There is one on each side of the blade in different positions. If they correspond very closely your scales may be suffering from cell rot.

    The edge looks odd, perhaps a frown but possibly an optical illusion.

    Made in germany. I will get a closer look when i get it, will probably have it in a few days.
    I will tell more about the condition and take New pictures of the razor then
