Thanked: 3226Hard to be certain but I am thinking the same material as the scales, cellulose. Very classy vintage razor BTW.

The scales are celluloid, but the tang ...
I have the similar razor and the scales and tang materials are different. I think, it's ivory.

It looks like Manah's and just like ivory! Nice!

I had one just like it. and I did the pin test to mine on the backside where they come together and it did nothing. later on sold it to my pops. so if it makes you feel any better that I had the same one and mine was ivory yours should be too. Hope this helps

Thanked: 3226You know, could very well be ivory as evidenced from Manah's post. There are a few threads on here about how to identify ivory with some good info and more importantly good photos. If you can find them you could maybe get a better idea from the photos. Either way one lovely Boker.

Manah. what would the 25/65 mean under the straight razor picture? I have a NOS W&B with writing like that on the back of the blade.
