I would go for the Le Grelot over the TI c135 for sure.

My preference would be for the Le Grelot blank. I'm a big fan of Le Grelot straights.

The Le Grelot is a vintage razor, I'd get one or keep one if you can. I've never shaved with the Le Grelot, but I have the 6/8th Spartacus with the C135 and it's a beautiful razzor that gives a fine shave.

Here's mine, gotta have the pic, right?

Don't get me wrong, love the Le Grelot blank I have, but it pales in comparison to all my Heljestrands, my Brian Brown custom and my Henckels Friodur. It definitely doesn't get used as much as it should.

I only have a C-135 TI (which is very good) so I can't help with a comparison, but I'm with those who say get the Le Grelot blank while you still can.

    Funtown,

I would absolutely choose the Le Grelot over the new Thiers-Issard razors. The quality is far superior, in my judgement. On top of everything else, there is something mystical about the Le Grelot.

Thought the same thing about the mystical-ness of the Le Grelots and it's just not the same as the Heljestrands.
