    Default Maltesen Rasor-any thoughts?

    Is this a decent razor?

It melts in your mouth, not in your hand. Oh, sorry, that's the chocolates.
No idea but that shoulder looks like it'll interfere in honing.

A Malteser was my first SR and still have it. It is a 3 pin and a different blade style but the same blade decoration. It is a 4/8 size too and shaves well unfortunately it's a size I don't use that often. Yours seem to be in excellent condition and should make a good shaver.

Here is some info on the maker that Neil Miller kindly supplied when I asked about mine http://straightrazorpalace.com/razor...nd-needed.html .

It's gorgeous, should hone and shave like a champ. Color me envious.

Just to make sure that I had not mislead you since it has been a long time since I used my Malteser, I stopped it up and shaved with it. Sure enough, it gave as good a 3 pass shave as any of my other razors. Still not my favourite size but that is another matter altogether.
