Wisteria handle material for Kamisori
Does anyone know of a source for this material? I've just bought a Kamisori and it came without the wrap but I prefer the look of it wrapped and guess that it's not too difficult to do.

Other than offering to prune some neighbors wisteria, then making some from the cuttings. You might try chair caning it seems to be flexible enough, after soaking that is.

Do give the handle some protection before you wrap it, it will live longer!

Thanked: 2027No Help with the wrap material, but if you can find it in your local treat the handle with POR-15,before you wrap it, rust will never be an issue.

Thanked: 13No joke about taking some vines from someone's plant. We have an enormous wisteria plant that covered a huge 10 ft X 10ft pergola. When a tree fell on it this winter, it took us weeks to disentangle the vines and cart everything off. Guarantee you that a local gardener would happily give you some trimmings. Wisteria grows like mad.
