    Can someone explain the Hamburg ring to me, are all hamburg ring razors good?

    It is a mystery for all of us.
    AFAIK so far no one has been able to give any info about what it means.

    I remember it being explained as a literal ring around the city of Hamburg. Sort of "push the grinders out of town" thing. It seems that razor-making was polluting the town and the fellas were sent to the outskirts? A ring of fine grinders once encircled Hamburg. If I am wrong, let me know!

    was nothing more than a local that razor makers worked in.
