Thanked: 0First post - Tell me about this Wade & Butcher I just picked up!
Here are the photos. Had to hang it from the tree - wouldn't stand on it's scales!

I got it from a barber down the street. It looks like it's in great condition, and will be a nice companion to my Boker. I'm having trouble dating W & B though, so I'd love your thoughts. Also - should I just get a nice hone, or should I get some restore work done too?

Hello & Welcome.
The razor appears to be in great condition by the photos. I would only clean , polish & hone.
Spend some time in the Library section reading about hones. The library is a wealth of information, take you time & enjoy.
On the forum front page there is a link to beginners, read that too.

Thanked: 0Thanks for the links - I already found and read them both though. I'm wondering if there's a way to tell from the shape of the tang or something like that?
