Charlie Myers was the man who did the grinding for Osborne, Garrett & Co - famous for Kropp, Osgar, Ogee, Elmo and Carrera straight razors in the latter days of that company. Charlie Myers had his own business - C. Myers & Son, run from Athol Road. Some time in the 1950s - or earlier - Osborne, Garrett & Co became Kropp Manufacturing Co, and operated from the same address. So, at some point Myers took over Kropp. Previous to this, Kropp razors were ground either in Germany or Sheffield and the addresses included Firth Street, Bateman Street and Dean Street in London.

The razors he produced were all outstanding.

    Regards,
    Neil
