Pioneer Razor Martens and Heider Information Please
I just acquired this razor and was wondering if anybody had any information on it. I haven't found any information about it. It is a pretty small razor (lengthwise it's about 2 1/2"). I think it's probably a newer model. On one size the razor says "Pioneer" with gold wash and "Made in Germany". On the other it says "Enterprise Laboratories, New Haven Conn. Made in Germany" and has the smoke stack logo from Mertens and Heider. The box is what it came in. The scales match it's short length. Thanks for your help.

Yes! A "hardware store" variety of unknown German make for Enterprise Laboratories. Lots of American Barber supplies referred to themselves as "Laboratories" But I doubt it! Looks a likely shaver. Seems the box is not original. These razors are usually of fine quality.

I rest my case.

Thanked: 4249Your razor is a Mertens and Heider probably 1920-1930, made for Enterprise Laboratories, Connecticut. Good condition more then likely will turn out to be a good shaver. All original! Enjoy!
