I much prefer blades that are 4/8 and hollow ground. I still shave with bigger and heavier blades for the variety, but when I need a really great shave, it's a 4/8 hollow for me.
As an added bonus, with so many people drooling over the big blades on eBay, there are great deals to be had on the smaller ones.
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

I've never enjoyed anything under 5/8. I've never used anything larger than 13/16, but I'm sure I'd like it. I like all grinds except wedges. The size doesn't really affect my shave. Variety is the spice of life.
