    Default Good or Bad

Just seen this on e bay What do others think hollingscraig | eBay Also asked him a Q about them and this was his reply ,
The blades are about 1 inch from spine to cutting edge, about 23 mm so would fall under your 5/8 category.
as i said i don't sharpen the razors when i get them, as i don't have any of the equipment, or the knowledge to sharpen them, they cut the hair off my arm.
so from my own experience i cant verify this. but surely if i was selling razors that went blunt after the first shave id have a few complaints, so far sold over 50, and not received one complaint. also no, the scales don't really have anything to do with it, they are mostly all the same price to buy. the only one thats different is the burl wood ones, as even if you search for burl wood scales on there own, your looking at £70/80. and most of the ones online are from Pakistan, these are known for very poor quality Damascus steel, Hence why i source all mine from Damascus itself. (what better place than the place it was named after, and invented it right? ha) however if you were looking to buy several off myself, i could do you a discounted rate, also could offer you solid stainless steel razors, with any of the scales that you can see im selling now, also fully original design of the razor, so you could have them with the groove at the front, basically they could make you a razor that costs £7000 for a stupidly low price. there are some beautiful razors about, and if you want to start selling them as a business let me know, and we will arrange something.
so the razors are up for sale now at 69 / 89

Personally I would not consider these razors, more or less knives or paperweights.

I guess if you bought the razor as a gift the person you bought it for might not feel like telling you it was a pile of junk.

50 sales, eh? I only counted 8 sales in 4 pages of feedback - the rest of the sales all seem to be jackets and coats.

He sources all his steel from Damascus itself - ooops, just dropped my coffe while shaking with laughter.

The scales look familiar - where have I seen those bosses before? Oh yes - on G B Buckingham & Sons razors. I bet he shops in Damuscus, too.

Should this be in auction talk?

But seriously? Who would ever sell real Damascus like that? Gosh, I just can't stand those kinda people.

Btw 23mm is very much NOT 5/8.
