Default It must be sign from the shaving gods... right?

So today I was debating on whether or not to shave with my Mach 3. I know, but I was going to see the difference between using a straight and a cartridge since I have been shaving with a straight for a little while now and feel like my technique is pretty good. So finally after trying to convince myself if I wanted to deal with the soon to follow irritation, I decided to shave with the mach 3. I go to my medicine cabinet where it laid in rest put there with the thought of never being picked up again. Well, I guess the gods didn't want that to happen as when I opened the cabinet it somehow jumped out of its holder and fell hitting my counter then hitting the floor and the blade actually broke. This was my only cartridge for the razor and I of course will not spend money on crap just to experiment. So it must be a sign haha.

That's awesome, although incredible that a god had to intervene to stop you from doing such a regretful thing!

I tried the same experiment after using a straight for a year. I had forgotten just how poorly the cartridge bladed razors actually shave. My face felt the same way it does 2 days after a straight shave immediately after I finished with the cartridge razor. It went into the trash shortly after.
