Thread: Heljestrand No24

Greetings,

I recently purchased this razor.
Heljestrand, C. V. "No 24" 9/16 - Straight Razor Place Wiki
It was more of a whim purchase, the price seemed right and I always wanted to try Swedish Steel. It is now on its way for a hone.

There is not a lot of info of this razor on the web, beyond the above thread.
From what I was able to glean, a lot of the love for Heljestrand razors is mainly focused on the one marked with M.K. that denotes that a master craftsmen made them.

I was hoping that someone here might have had some experience with No 24 with it and would like to share.

I always thought M.K. is short for Magnus Kindal who sold Heljestrand razors in Paris.
