Question about a W&B Bow razor
I've not wanted to post asking about this razor, as there have been many threads on the topic of Bows, and there is such a vast wealth of information throughout this forum....and as many of the "Famous Keen Shaving Bow Razor"s I've been able to see pics of, they all have that phrase etched on the blade. This one has it stamped on the tang. No jimping, no Sheffield, no England, no Arrow, no maltese cross, no circled B...just "Wade and Butcher's Famous Keen Shaving Bow Razor" on one side of the tang and the Bow on the other. I understand that no information is absolute, but would be interested to know a little something aside from the pre-England stamp date and the dates of operation for W&B.
I get the age range on all the other Bows I've seen, but i feel as though I'm missing something with this one
Thanks in advance,
Ryals

I shaved with mine the other day. I've never seen one with that stamping. Always the bow on the mark side, but never seen one with any stamping on the pile side. Very cool W&B.
