Default How bad is my blade?

I just purchased a straight razor. I'm new to straights and I'm just curious how bad the blade is on it.

Looks minor to me,,,probably something that could be worked out with circles on a 4K. Might have to drop to a 1K ??

This razor was sold as shave ready do you think that would pull on my beard? I'm not that worried about looks but more about function.

That edge needs to be fixed, but it's not that bad.
That looks like just enough to give you a problem on your face.

Looks like some metal removed on the heel. Absence of bevel down there. A few layers of tape and rock and roll on a dmt and on to a 1k to get things going from what I can see. JMO

My curiosity would get me to try it even with the chips! They aren't serious but do need to be fixed.

Well, that thing is nowhere near shave ready. Not an opinion, a fact!

Ask for refund or compensation for honing, blade got nicks in it, and half a bevel.

I'm with Martin on this one, that edge needs some attention! It's not bad but definitely not shave ready IMO. The bevel is wacky from heel to toe and the chips shouldn't be there on a shave ready razor. Send it out to one of the gents in the classifieds here on SRP, you will be amazed at the difference!

I shave because I want to, not because I have to!
