    Not really confusing - just proof that the written word is better than memory - John Salt evidently got it wrong when he said 'cutlers to her majesty' was awarded in '54.

    Either that, or they were still using the mark. Several of the companies they have now incorporate their name, but are 'non-trading' companies.
