Default Vintage razors my wife brought home

Here's a few razors my wife brought home. There was a Red Imp razor that was in terrible shape-I'm not even posting a pic. It came in this Red Devil Case which I'm pretty sure is not the right case, but the case itself is pretty cool-I may keep the case but not the razor (it's the bottom pic). The Boker (top pic) is a nice looking razor-I have two other Boker's and they are both incredible shavers. The Friedr. is a nice looking razor that's in good shape. I've never heard of this one. I'd love to get info if anybody out there knows anything about them.

Wow, that's quite a haul! I have that Boker and the Red Imp Strop and LOVE them both. Enjoy.

I have the same box. There's a few different Red devil razors. Mines a Ran-tan-ka-rus red devil by Johan Engstrom.

That's a very nice haul your wife got you!

A good barber friend of mine had a Red Imp strop hanging off his barber chair 30 years ago. I kept my eyes peeled and finally scored one. Great strop and I use mine from time to time. It is shell and one of the top of the line that Certifyd sold. Nice Boker and the Herder is a well known Solingen brand, also a first class blade. Martin, Neil and/or Manah have posted info on that razor and the trademark IIRC.

I'm pretty sure the box is for the Red Devil 'Ran-Tan-Kar-Us that Joh Engstrom of Sweden made. A really cool smiling blade. Keep the box and look for one of those. Great razor IME. Nice wife to help you out with the sport.

Thanks for the input gentlemen. My wife is an antique collector/trader/dealer. She has a slew of people that just hand her their shave related goods. I'm way way past out of room, but I love it all and can't stop. Here's a pic of my vintage brush collection-all restored by Rudy Vey over the past few years. The five on the left end just arrived today.

Wow. Slightly jealous of the brush collection. I just suggested to my wife that she become and antiques trader, but she didn't seem too enthused... gorgeous haul though.
