    Even if the brush that came with the mug is junk I really like the mug!

    Had one in for honing a while back - can only echo the 'run don't walk away' sentiment so admirably presented above!

    It is a chinese made item. Last time I looked on Ali-BaBa the price was $3.00 - $10.00 a piece, and minimum order was 20 pieces up to 1000 pieces when the price dramatically drops.

    FWIW the 'Krieger' stainless steel and Pakka-wood razor/knife is sourced from the same place - and we all know what they are like, right?!

    The scales aren't too bad, but not that well finished. Besides that they are very thick and weigh a lot. The blade is no lightweight itself, and each scale is about as wide, maybe a bit wider, than the blade.

    They are not worth the money. Stainless and extremely heavy. Better used to cut your steak than shave with.
