    Norton 4/8 or Super stone 5/8 before Superstone 12k

    I have a Naniwa Super 12k polishing stone and am wondering if the norton 4k/8k is good for before the 12k or if I should stay with the same brand and get the 5k and 8k Naniwa super stones.
