This is my routine:
-hot and then cold water rinse following a shave
-apply alum
-cold water rinse
-apply Skin food, allow to dry somewhat while I do my post-shave cleanup
-apply...

My shave den is never without Skin Food either. Once my bottle is empty I'm tempted to try another scent other than the coral, but I'm worried that I might be messing with a good thing! Lasts...
