1k arm hair test will differ from the stone which you are using it.

i think you stuck with hard steel.
stay on 1 k until you will cut the arm hair.
then you move up to 3k.

last picture shows you have bevel.
Now take pressure off and make 50 strokes.
then move to 3k and make 50 strokes . check the edge ?
