i think you are trying to find out the best spine to edge angle.
which is between 16-20 degree and if am not mistaken 16,5 is the best.... -

there is differences between bevel and edge....
there is differences between bevel and edge.
Edge is cutting edge which cuts the hairs.
Bevel has nothing to do with cutting .
