Today I found a package from Belgium in the mail... It was the Dirlam and the Crown I sent to Bart..

At first I didnt recognize it because Bart almost regrinded it a bit... WOW it looks a lot...

Plan B didnt work very well .It did shave but the edge didnt seem sharp enough for an ATG pass.. so I taped the spine and reset the bevel...went on to the BBW and the coticule.. stropped it and...

Didnt get to shaving this morning.. I had a three year old that needed to get dressed for kindergarten that needed more attention..

well I honed it according to plan B. It produced a nice second bevel. I'll try to test it tomorow, but it will be a crazy day tomorow.

I didnt do the HHT or shave arm hair with it when I came off the DMT.. but I'm pretty sure it would have shaved armhair.. the TPT was sliding into the skin like butter all over the edge and I looked...

You are right it wasnt shave ready. I did try it and it is getting better every time so there is still quite some progress..

During the test shave I found some parts of the razor that where sharp enough and some that were not... I should realy do the TPT on the whole edge next time.. So I think I'll just repeat the whole...

Nope you didnt confuse me too much:).. I'm pretty sure the belgian hone is ment for razors but I'm not convince that the blue side is blue and not just slate..

I have been using a DMT D6E and a coticule/BBW combo.. its working pretty good so far.. I've just been spoiled so far with the razors that had been honed by Bart and Don (or Lynn I'm not sure)
