Ahhh...I just tried stropping and some of that...
Ahhh...I just tried stropping and some of that solid crap built up on my razor. I just did what you said and I think I got most of the gunk, but the streaks are still there. Did it stain the leather...

Its used (new about a month and a half ago) but...
Its used (new about a month and a half ago) but these appeared literally overnight and only where the pools of strop dressing were when I left it to dry so I'm reasonably certain the grey streaks are...

strop dressing residue
Hey, I redressed my strop again, but this time I think I didnt fully rub it all in. When I checked on it again this morning there were these dark, sorta greyish streaks where I assume little streaks...
