Finally fixed the POS. Basically needed to clear our my config files for Firefox. Once that was done everything started working. Deleted the mozilla folder under "Application Data".

Like I said it just happened to me too. No reboots, no installs. I was using firefox 1.5.0.4 for a while and everything was fine then on a reply I noticed that stuff is disabled. I'll try to reboot...

I suddenly can't use any of the editing icons for posts. All advanced editing icon buttons are disabled in Firefox. This just happened on the last post, I restarted Firefox with no change in status....
