I know that the majority I've seen are Tomae, with lots of Aisa/Karasu and Suita, but I'm not really sure about Namito.

There are way more Tomae strata in the Honkuchi...

As Seth said, this is not always true, and su are not exclusive to suita...

this is why Su-nashi is important for razor honing. Su can trap the slurry, unless you rinse very carefully. But contamination? All you have to do is whip up a nice honzan slurry, rinse...

Yep, pretty much that. Except that Tenjou is closer to Mejiro in fineness.
