Actually, they don't require much maintenance at all. I use one each day, so I don't go through all of them in a year. I find that desiccant in the drawer and baby oil is enough to keep them rust...

I looked at those, too. The problem that the only ones I could find were made to house a 3 by 5 index card, so you would have to store them at 90 degress to the front, or lengthwise in the drawer.

ALL of them pass the HHT. I have had about 10 failures, either because they were too far gone to develop a decent edge or the steel was junk. But all of the others are shavers.
