I did run an ebay razor over it. Felt incredibly smooth.
Building up the slurry is very quick with the stone, I had assumed it took a while, but just a few strokes gets it done.
My DMT 8C arrived...

+2. Always check the box for that slurry stone before throwing it away, they seem to be very generous in including one.
