Kit arrived today! I soaked the 4k/8k, then lapped with the norton flattening stone.
Used the conservative pyramid followed by some cardboard i pasted with .5 CrO powder, followed by leather... -

It was around $70 shipped for just the 4k/8k and the lapping stone is almost $30 by itself. So i figured i might as well just get it all now.
