no I doubt it ever crack and fall out in pieces, once cooked it is more like a piece of plastic, it is not clay it is a ploymere...I did varnish it...of course I can't tell if it will still be there...

here we go...I was thinking about making full set of scales in that but I doubt the rigidity is enough to avoid nasty twisting...might try one day though...

I guess for availability it depends of the country...but for france and spain yes definitly at craft stores...or even toy shops.
