As mentioned previously, I purchased the str8 from ZethLent shave ready. I love it and was able to recently do 3 passes without needing the DE to cleanup.

I don't have a normal routine involving touch up hones yet. I'm still a n00b who has only just recently succeeded doing a 3 pass shave with a straight, not needing the DE for the final 1 or 2 passes....
