OP could mark the bevel and do 10 roundtrips on a hone to see whether edge repair is needed.

Looking at OP's razor's heel I wonder whether it has a problem at all. It looks to me like the razors posted later have a rounder heel, i.e. more steel was removed in the process of rounding it....

Get her honed and shave away! In spite of all the faults mentioned it will be a great shaver that will outlast you.
