I realise this. That comment was made in response to someone saying that shave ready from a non shave guy doesn't always mean actually shave ready. Of course I will check for rust and pitting.

Just a note- I am no expert, but I will definately run the finger nail test for bevel and HHT, maybe arm shave (crude) test to see how sharp they are. He is not a razor guy, but he is definately good...
