Yes the scales are original & were split at the pivot big chip out of the toe would have been £5 on ebay (actually part of a job lot)
turned into a fully functioning razor, Cant get much greener... -

I have made a couple of dwarfs from damaged...
I have made a couple of dwarfs from damaged razors, they work out quite well especially if the problem is its just toe heavy
Filled the pivot with brass & moved it up the tang a bit

An unusual 11/16" razor Sheffield made For Boots Chemist UK
The blade is only 2" long but unlike moustache razors the scales are normal size & the length is made up with a long tang
