    CA = superglue. You basically apply it in thin coats with a rubber glove... After about 12 to 15 coats, you sand it up to a mirror finish. It's very cool, if a little time consuming...

    I'm thinking about getting a small belt sander....

    I'm thinking about getting a small belt sander. Nothing like Bill's Burr King, but something to speed along the sanding and help even it out would be nice. :)

    Good catch there... That was actually partly a finger print. It could use a little buff with my Dremel bristle discs, though...

    My latest restoration...

    My latest effort... The blade is sanded to a 400-grit satin finish. The scales are padouk wood with a CA finish... Brass spacer.

    It came out pretty well, but of course we'll focus on the flaws......
