I use a 2x72" belt grinder, which is the gold standard for people who make steel into blades. :)

A grinding stone would probably destroy most razors faster than you could blink.

This sucker definitely went on the grinder. I could have done it with some sandpaper or my DMT 325, but it would have taken a while. :)

That chip was painful to look at. Fortunately the razor was a 6/8, and we turned it into a slightly oversized 5/8. :) It is a nice shaver.
