Sounds like a good idea. I definitely want a selection of W&Bs, Ducks, Genco... That way we can get a baseline and not just go with one sample that could be an outlier.

I have broken a couple of vintage blades to look at the grain, and I have to agree about the heat treatments being spotty....

For those of us who sell razors, higher prices aren't necessarily a bad thing... :) I'm thinking of starting an OPEC-like organization that will allow us to exert total control over the razor market....
