My WE is also NOT one of my top shavers. Nothing to do w/ flex and lightness - just not sharp enough yet (I think). If it's really sharp it shouldn't flex much, just slice the hairs? Mine...

Mint is nice, for sure. I had a 7/8 that was an outstanding shaver. I also have cheaper (some - much cheaper) razors that shaved better, imo.
