Recently mined Coticules will have a Portugese slate backing but vintage Coticules have a BBW backing if any. Although there might be a few exceptions, I haven't seen any but I don't want to rule it...

That's a nice Coticule/BBW glued combination with a nice thick Coticule layer. If it's worth buying depends on the price, the value of stones are subjective.
