I edited my post after I found the reference. I think the last I heard it was higher than 10K. I would use it either after or instead of the 12K stone. I think its higher than 10k.

I found that reference over at Classicshaving.com. I'm not sure I would rely on that grit number. I think I would follow the stone with stropping a little on paste, either alone should do the trick...
