I saw pretty much the exact same blade last week, with the same spinework in 'Blue Wonder' scales. All it said on the blade was 'STAINLESS SOLINGEN' just like that one! It didn't look like the Blue...

Guys, does this not seem virtually IDENTICAL to last weeks COWBOY other than the spinework? Scales and all? The grind and the frosting, rather than a stamp?

As I've never heard of the brand, no I can not vouch for it having any better quality than a Gold Dollar, which I would never bid on to win.

I think the seller is reputable though, as I bought a Weyersberg (Corneta) from him a few weeks ago. Was a fine razor, though it had been rescaled.

That's what makes me skeptical, the fact that it is etched. I therefore wonder if it is vintage or a modern making, or a regrind of an old blank. I then wonder who would have made it in any event.

Cowboy straight razor, Solingen. Anyone ever heard of this brand? Its a stainless Solingen blade. I've never heard of the maker and furthermore don't associate cowboy with quality! Certainly not...
