    Not sure if you are asking me, but if it is not stamped with the type of steel, how can we be sure it is what it is claimed to be?
    Japanese knives made from White or Blue steel are always stamped....

    Not sure what the steel is. I see listings on ebay that claim White 2 steel, but if there is no stamp on the blade I do not believe it.

    Do you have any evidence that the steel is White #2? That steel was mainly used by kamisori makers.
