So no proof. Could totally be wrong, but I haven't bought any other razors recently that said that in the description. I can tell you it hones unlike any other razor I've honed. The steel is feels very different .
I have honed a bunch of those, they are very easy to hone and they take a great edge.

Mine had a slight ding and I was surprised how little work it took to remove the ding.
I'm curious if you have an idea of what kind of steel it is?
It's nice to hone and seems to hold an edge well.

Not sure what the steel is. I see listings on ebay that claim White 2 steel, but if there is no stamp on the blade I do not believe it.

What mark is used to identify it? That would be cool to know.
I have custom razors that were made from 01 and 02 steel but are not marked.

    In Kanji
    "White" is 白,
    "2" is 二
    "Steel" is 鋼

There are two other scripts used, Hiragana and Katanaka. Don't know the symbols for those, but I am sure they can be googled. Sometimes a mix of the scripts is used to write as well.

I thought it may say that lol
Personally it looks like a teepee with a cloud over it and an omega or PI sign with the sun shining over it. And the two hearts are turnips I think. I think that Fraggles like turnips. I was tortured by this puppet show by my brother as kids

Very cool looking at any rate
