There are good deals to be had on eBay. Search for Thuringian hone and see what pops up, there is a fellow that sells from Germany and accepts reasonable offers.

Not to start arguments, but J-Nats are very simple stones to use. One just needs to get a tested stone from a reputable seller and that is it.
