    I am a real OCD about the edge/scales flush fit, it depends on the finish used IMO. CA and wipe on finishes are not going to affect the flush fit. I have not used epoxy but from what I see it affects...

    Collins Special in redwood burl

    Restored this 6/8 blade in stabilized Flamed Redwood Burl.
    Finished with wipe on poly, acrylic backed. Wedge is bone linen micarta, NiAg pins and stainless washers.
