One of my Norton's is the same way :) I had to force it in there. Now I hold the hones in my hand while honing, so I forgot about that :D

:dropjaw: Maybe you have the everlasting Norton hone hehe...

That's pretty interesting though...I've soaked mine a good bit, but it never swelled up...
