Sounds like good advice. I purchased a nice professionally sharpened razor and am expecting it anytime now. I'd love to have something to compare to, my 8.5 to 9 could very well be a low 7. :-)

On a scale of 1 to 10 I've expirienced some solid 7.5 to 9's. But would sure love to feel a 10. :-) All my edges (on a decent razor that has a good bevel to start) have passed the hanging hair test...
