Oh ..this knot is going into an Elk Horn handle that Glen Sixxgun made for me years ago....the handle is pissah ....the GN knot....no so much.

Warm water in the scuttle for the brush...as iam aware of hot water might damage the hairs....and hot tap water for the inner walls of the scuttle......Just didn't expect this from a high end brush (...

The knot is still snug ...no play.

No little kids left.....I do use a scuttle....I do soak my brush in warm water...the whole knot is under water....I shave every other day or every 3 days....I store the brush up side down on a wall...
