Seems the answer was staring me in the face... google helped out, seems the marque is 'Crown and Eagle', here is an example from the web:

So, seems no-one recognises this mark... I've cleaned the razor up a bit and taken a clearer picture, so I'll just leave it hanging, maybe one day someone will come up with an answer...
